Frequently asked questions
Is there a macOS or mobile version?
No. FaberDesk currently only supports the Windows 10/11 x64 operating system. A macOS, iOS, or Android version is not available.
Is my screen data stored on FaberDesk servers?
No. Screen, control, and file data flow directly between the two devices via an end-to-end encrypted WebRTC session. The server only brokers the connection.
Which operating systems does it support?
Only Windows 10/11 (64-bit). Other platforms are not supported at this time.
Do I need to open an account?
No. The device ID is generated on your computer; no email or password is required.
Is there a limit on file transfers?
Yes, up to 64 MB per transfer. Files are transmitted over a separate encrypted channel, never touching the signaling service.
